PSLE Dos and Dont's During Examinations

Clear and simple exam rules to help students stay confident and avoid mistakes during PSLE.

Correction Tape

Not allowed due to scanning system.

Pencils

Allowed, but pens are strongly recommended.

Ink Pens

Use blue/black ink, preferably 0.5mm.

Water Bottles

Not allowed unless medically required.

Are correction tapes allowed?
No. They are not allowed because scripts are scanned digitally and corrections may become unreadable.
Are calculators allowed?
Yes, but only approved calculators with official stickers are allowed.
Can students request extra paper?
Yes. Students may request blank sheets anytime during the exam.
Are erasable pens allowed?
Allowed but discouraged because erased ink may fade and affect marking.
